Selected as a Social Value Creation Company in Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group’s “GGP Edge Program 2024”

We are honored to be selected as a Social Value Creation Company in Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group’s “GGP Edge Program 2024”. Utilizing our spatial presentation tool “WHERENESS”, we have proposed a new method to visualize stored artworks that are often inaccessible, using cutting-edge 3D technology. This initiative aims to provide new ways to access and utilize cultural assets.

Moving forward, we strive to further develop our business to create greater social value, with mentorship from Professor Jinichiro Yamada, an expert in Green Entrepreneurship at Kyoto University Graduate School of Management, and strategic guidance from The Japan Research Institute to refine our logic model.

Selection Committee Comments (Excerpt)

“We deeply respect this grand vision of preserving cultural heritage. We truly hope to see it realized.” – Masaki Takao, CEO at JEPLAN, INC.

“This is an important initiative that looks at culture from a long-term perspective. While there are major challenges ahead—such as governance and partnership-building with stakeholders beyond just technology and systems—I encourage you to push forward.” – Jinichiro Yamada, Graduate School of Management, Kyoto University

“As art storage becomes increasingly difficult in the future, triage (prioritization) will become necessary. I believe this initiative will be a valuable option, and expectations from the art community will only grow.” – Megumu Murakami, Chief Specialist at the Center for Strategic Innovation, The Japan Research Institute.

Tsuji, the project leader, shared his aspirations:

“My lifelong question has been whether businesses can operate in areas where economic rationality is not the primary driver. Instead of pursuing short-term capital gains, I want to build a truly sustainable business model.”
