KEIHANNA Foodtech Valley VR

The Keihanna Food Tech Valley, planned for construction in Kyotanabe City, Kyoto Prefecture, is a research hub designed to attract food tech companies to a vast 30-hectare site, fostering a new industry that symbolizes Kyoto's culinary heritage. Before construction, we conducted simulations of the actual plans using 3DCG to facilitate business negotiations with companies. Utilizing this data, we produced 360° video content. At the exhibition, participants were able to experience it through VR headsets, allowing them to engage with the project on a physical scale.

Magosaburo Ohara 360° documentary

360-degree Movie
The "Former Ohara Family Residence," a luxurious merchant house that began construction in the late Edo period (in the 7th year of the Kansei era), has played a significant role in the economic and cultural development of Kurashiki. It was the residence of the Ohara family, particularly Saburo Ohara and Soichiro Ohara. Currently, the residence is managed by the Yu-rin-kai Public Foundation and is known as the "Katarai-za Ohara Honten." As a documentary for VR headsets, we created a 360-degree film about the biography of Saburo Ohara, who, while being a leader of a large corporation, also engaged in numerous social initiatives.

Kawasaki University of Medical Welfare Open-Water Swimming VR Training

At the Department of Health and Physical Education at Kawasaki University of Medical Welfare, an annual open-water swimming practicum is held as part of the training program for future health and physical education teachers. The goal is to nurture teachers with the skills to prevent swimming-related accidents, especially among children, which remain a significant concern. Many students participating in this practicum have little or no experience swimming in the ocean or with long-distance swimming, which carries a potential risk of serious accidents if misjudgments are made. Fortunately, with 30 years of experience in conducting this training safely, we have created a 360-degree video content to pass on this expertise to future generations.

The Keio University Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, led by Professor Yasuto Nakanishi, is researching the design of furniture-type robots equipped with transformation and mobility capabilities. As an output of this research, we produced 360-degree video content to showcase the lab’s findings.

Nippon Steel UMIMORI Project

We created a documentary using 360° video focused on the regeneration of seagrass beds utilizing steel slag. By showcasing 15 years of research, development, and proof of concept, we aimed to enhance transparency of information and foster a relationship with viewers through immersive experiences. We communicate the significance of our activities as a promotional effort and convey the realities of the field.
