Radiance Fields recently featured WHERENESS, a spatial sharing platform that makes it easy to upload, organize, and share 360º content and 3D Gaussian splatting files.
Originally developed from ART360°, an exhibition archiving project by the Nishieda Foundation, WHERENESS was created to digitally preserve and share artistic spaces. Now, the platform extends beyond art, offering solutions for architecture, digital twins, and interactive storytelling.
With WHERENESS, users can create structured digital catalogs, generate direct URLs for easy sharing, and even protect projects with password restrictions. The platform also supports high-resolution 3D Gaussian Splatting, working seamlessly with formats like .ply, .splat, .ksplat, and Niantic’s .SPZ.
Future updates will introduce interactive hotspots, adding a new dimension to user engagement. Currently, WHERENESS is free to use, inviting creators and organizations to bring digital spaces to life.
